Hello!

I decided to take a trip down The Gamers Guild on Sunday, as the weather was very good, to see what Magic cards they had, with the plan of possibly getting a whole box of boosters.
But, I'm told that the market for Magic is pretty much non-existant!

So, that leads me to this - are there any people who still play Magic in the area, or, have cards and simply haven't played for a while? I was talking to one of the owners (sorry, I never did ask your name), who showed me the gaming rooms downstairs.

I've never done tournaments, and, I've also never played against people I don't know. But, it would be good to have a go. Would there be any interest? I can probably bring one other person down with me, so, we've got two to start off with.

Or, is there anyone in Sutton too who might want to play with a few different people and keep it local?

Thanks for reading!

Sid

PS. I've got no experience in any of the other games, like Warhammer, or D&D, etc... Doesn't mean I'm opposed to trying though - just a matter of free time, and lack of. :)

Hi Sid and welcome to the forums!

The whole Magic thing seems to have disappeared from the Guild over the last year or so, but there are lots of other things going on. If you've ever been curious about miniatures/war gaming you could come along to the Pirates! Paint and Play campaign. It runs every other Saturday afternoon at the moment, and will be happening this weekend, i.e. 30 May. It's a very laid back affair so just pop by if you're interested; don't worry about bringing anything with you. More details on the thread here:
