At the forefront of this rapid expansion are the warriors of the Fire caste. Unfettered by Mankind's superstition and fear of technology, the Fire Warriors go into battle carrying weapons of immense power, encased in battlesuits that can withstand the fiercest of attacks. Led by the mysterious Ethereals and accompanied by alien allies whose cultures have been subsumed in their empire, the Tau believe that the very stars themselves will be reforged in the cause of the Greater Good.

Fire Warriors make up the core infantry to any Tau army. Armed with pulse rifles and carbines Fire Warriors can despatch their foe without getting too close. A Fire Warrior team requires between 6 and 12 Fire Warriors and can include Gun Drones. The box contains enough bits and options for 12 Fire Warriors and 2 Gun Drones which will require assembly and painting.

Those Fire warriors who prove themselves in battle earn the right to wear a battlesuit and bear the name of Shas'ui. As an elite choice for the Tau Empire army a squad consists of between one and three battlesuits. This box contains a single battlesuit with all weapon options and two Gun Drones.
